Eppa Hunton, VI.

Eppa Hunton VI

Eppa Hunton VI grew up in Richmond before attending Washington & Lee University and falling in love with the Shenandoah Valley. After receiving his BA in History from W&L, and following a short career in banking, Eppa returned to school to earn his law degree from the University of Richmond.

Following law school, Eppa co-founded the Richmond Legal Development Center, Virginia’s first legal incubator and the first privately funded legal incubator in the country to be recognized by the American Bar Association. The RLDC was designed to translate Eppa’s passion for community service into tangible results by providing “low bono” legal services to Richmond’s underrepresented communities. Along with giving back through the RLDC, Eppa volunteered with multiple organizations in the Richmond community including establishing a young professionals group associated with the Tredegar Ironworks Museum (now known as The American Civil War Center), helping to create the Campaign Committee for Central Virginia Legal Aid, and serving on the Board of Directors of the historic Byrd Theatre.

After practicing on his own in Richmond for six years, the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley called to and he jumped at the opportunity to join Cravens & Noll and return to the Shenandoah Valley. While not in the office, Eppa enjoys exploring the natural beauty around Harrisonburg and cheering on the Virginia Cavaliers.
